National Blood Bank of Saint Lucia appeal for donations (PSA)

The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and Elderly Affairs has issued an urgent request for public assistance. The National Blood Bank of Saint Lucia is currently facing a critical shortage of blood donations, which poses a significant challenge to meeting the needs of emergencies, surgeries, and individuals with chronic illnesses. To address the situation, the Blood Bank is making a heartfelt appeal to the public to donate blood. Appointments for donations can be made via telephone at both the Owen King and St. Jude hospitals.
