NDU: Empowering Persons with Disabilities This production is a celebration of the flagship work of the National Disabilities Unit (NDU) of Barbados, as part of its mandate to advocate for, and promote the advancement and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. As the NDU joined the rest of the world on December 3rd in celebrating the International Day of Persons with Disabilities to promote awareness and support for people with disabilities, this programme is a true testament of how the NDU is creating opportunities for the disabled community in Barbados. These NDU programmes are certainly helping the disabled in Barbados to be equally integrated into society, and to participate in all aspects of life.
