National Security Minister Defends Response To SSA

The Government acted promptly when it learnt that the Strategic Services Agency (SSA) was compromised. Following the Prime Minister’s statement in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, the Minister of National Security, Fitzgerald Hinds, was further questioned on the details shared. In the Senate on Thursday, he was asked by Independent Senator Dr. Paul Richards about the timeline that the Government would have received the information. Minister Hinds said the information was shared some months ago.
