Native title claim rubbishes 60 year long school excursion tradition

Sky News host Caleb Bond says a native title claim has stopped a “60-odd year” long school excursion to Goose Island. “Scotch college in Adelaide for 60-odd years has been running excursions to Goose Island … but it will be no longer because of a native title claim,” Mr Bond said. “They were recognised as the owners of the land … the local Aboriginal people have said no thank you very much, we are going to keep it for ourselves.”
