Its parliament has swiftly approved a motion to restore diplomatic relations with Beijing, much to Washington's disappointment and anger. In this edition of The Hub, Wang Guan talks to Yang Xiyu, a senior research fellow at the China Institute of International Studies, to discuss the timing of Nauru's momentous decision and its repercussions in the South Pacific region and beyond.
