Nauruan residents wish for stronger cooperation and promotion of economic development with China

The visit is the first by the Nauruan president since the resumption of diplomatic relations with China in January. CGTN Stringer interviewed Nauruans about their impressions of China and their ideas about cooperation between China and Nauru. Rose, a Nauruan student said that she hopes to see China and Nauru promote economic and cultural exchanges. Another resident looked forward to the cooperation between the two countries in areas such as tourism and environmental protection in addressing global challenges jointly.
