Former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has been issued a show-cause notice by the Chhattisgarh Civil Society, demanding evidence for his claims that his wife's stage 4 cancer was cured through dietary changes. The society has threatened legal action and a fine of ₹850 crores if Sidhu fails to provide proof. Dr. Kuldeep Solanki, representing the society, criticised Sidhu for misleading the public and potentially causing harm by promoting unproven treatments.
