Navy celebrates it's 60th anniversary in Mombasa

President William Ruto once again referenced former president Uhuru Kenyatta's advice, which was barely a week after he visited him at his home in Gatundu, Kiambu County. Acknowledging the contribution and critical role played by the Kenya Navy in protecting the vast coastline and resources the president claimed Kenyatta advised him to prioritize state agency modernization. Speaking during the 60th anniversary of the kenya navy in Mombasa county, the commander in chief recognized the force's achievements including enhancing maritime security and curbing piracy cases in the Indian ocean.
