World Sleep Day falls on Mar 15 and the score for Singapore does not look good. Four in 10 say they sleep well for just one to three nights in a week. This is despite many agreeing that sleep can impact work and health. Loke Wei Sue spoke to Dr Tay Hin Ngan, a specialist at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, and Katrin Pucknat, Chief Marketing Officer at ResMed, on the importance of sleep on mental health and personal well-being in today's world.
