Health experts and environmentalists want government to embrace modern ways of managing waste instead of creating more landfills that have negative impacts to human health and the environment. The director public health in the ministry of health Dr. Daniel Kyabayinze stresses that it is high time Uganda embraced innovative ways of waste management.
