Neighbourhood Watch donates to children's home
Residents of a St. Philip community have come together to donate toiletries and food items to the Evalina Smith Children's Home located at the St. Philip District Hospital. This is the second year the Bel-Air Neighbourhood Watch group has made a much-needed donation to the home. Member of Parliament for St. Philip Indar Weir says he is pleased the Belair community continues to function and look for meaningful projects such as helping the wards at the home. Public Relations Officer of the Belair Neighbourhood Watch Sandra Blades says residents are happy to donate to the home which it has adopted. On behalf of those who reside at the home, and management of the St. Philip District Hospital, Nursing Sister Odelia Neblett is thanking the group for the donation which she says will go a long way.
