Neighbours shock about murder

Residents of Emerald Park West have expressed shock after the murder of a neighbour and the apparent attempted suicide of her husband this morning. Stressing that the couple seemed "nice," they offered condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life. Police Communications and Public Affairs Officer, Inspector Rodney Inniss, says the victim is a woman believed to be in her 50s. The suspect who is reportedly in his 70s, was taken for medical attention after allegedly ingested a poisonous substance.
