Netanyahu condemns killing of Israeli rabbi in UAE: “Antisemitic terror attack”
Israeli Prime Minister Bejamin Netanyahu spoke out on Sunday after the “kidnapping and murdering” of an Israeli rabbi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). “May God avenge his death,” Netanyahu said in his opening remarks at a meeting. “This murder… is a criminal, antisemitic terror attack,” he added. The victim, Zvi Kogan worked in the UAE for an orthodox Jewish group known as “Chabad.” He was last seen in Dubai. After being found, Israeli officials say he was murdered. As a criminal investigation is underway, authorities in Israel are now warning citizen against all non-essential travel to the emirates.
