Tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate after Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. “Australia’s not supporting sanctions on Israel as they did within the 24 hours of Russia invading Ukraine,” Mr Loewenstein told Sky News Australia. “Netanyahu feels like he is in the ascendancy. “His long-term desire … to redraw the map will actually result in disaster.”
