Netanyahu’s UN appearance gave impression ‘nothing was going to happen’

Sky News host Rita Panahi says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s United Nations appearance gave the impression “nothing was going to happen” during his speech. Hezbollah has confirmed the death of its leader. Hassan Nasrallah was killed in a barrage of Israeli airstrikes in Beirut. “It looks like it was all very much coordinated, and Netanyahu’s appearance in New York was to give them the impression that, perhaps, they were focused on other areas, nothing was going to happen for that period, and that is precisely when they struck,” Ms Panahi said. “That, in itself, is fascinating, but they are cleaning up shop here.”
