New breakthrough pill being trialled to combat Alzheimer’s

A possible breakthrough has been made in slowing the effects of Alzheimer’s in the form of a drug currently undergoing clinical trials. The drug Xanamem targets the production of the stress hormone Cortisol. Actinogen Medical believes the once-a-day pill could also have similar effects on different types of dementia, such as Lewy Body.
