New drought-resistant groundnuts launched to fight food insecurity

Three new varieties of drought-resistant groundnuts have been unveiled at the 44th World Food Day anniversary held in Serere District, Teso Sub-region. Researchers at the National Agriculture and Research Organisation developed the varieties, which are said to be quick-maturing and rich in nutrients.
