New initiative introduces senior-friendly products at HDB void deck

The Singapore University of Social Sciences and social enterprise SG Assist have started a space called Age+ Living Lab in the country's first dementia-friendly neighbourhood in Yishun. It includes items as simple as dinnerware, to remote-controlled adjustable beds. National Development Minister Desmond Lee also announced that the Government will subsidise more types of fittings, as well as work with sellers to offer comprehensive packages for fall detection devices.
