New legislation governing reuse of water coming

The way is being paved for more individuals and businesses to be able to treat water for non-potable use, a move officials say can help the island with some of it's water shortage issues. New legislation to govern the process is on the books in the form of the Water Reuse Act, and will cover the capture, collection, treatment and reuse or sale of wastewater for various purposes.
