Sixty recruits have shown their resilience and made it to the end of Intake 16 - 2024 of the Barbados Pathfinder Band. The platoon put on a superb drill display for family members and well-wishers, including Minister of Labour Colin Jordan recently at the Oldbury campsite in St. Philip. Executive Secretary of the Eastern Caribbean Conference, Terrance Haynes commended the cohort on their decision to serve the church, under the theme "Resilience: The Journey Continues". He advised them to be disciplined in all their undertakings. Meanwhile, Recruitment Officer Tristan Williams noted during 2019 to 2022, the band was unable to function due to restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. While this cohort had its disappointments and challenges, he urged the band members to use them as stepping stones on their journey to success.
