New strategy to market tourism sector in the country

The government through the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife has embarked on the formulation of a new strategy to market the tourism sector in the country in a campaign to attract more domestic and international tourists. This among others includes a plan to acquire tourist police vehicles and beach cleaning trucks. The target is to hit over 5 million tourists this year up from 1.5 million last year.
