‘No apologies’: Jason Clare reaffirms government’s foreign student cap

Education Minister Jason Clare says he makes “no apologies” for the government’s intervention in foreign student caps. The Albanese government has announced a cap on the number of foreign students in Australia to 270,000. Mr Clare told Sky News Australia that it is a plan to assist with restoring migration levels to pre-pandemic levels.
