It may be some time before the wage dispute at Durban’s uShaka Marine World ends. At least 300 workers downed tools on Monday, demanding a 15% salary increment but management at Durban’s only theme park say they can’t afford it. It’s been months of unsuccessful negotiations between the South African Workers Union and Ushaka. Opposition parties in eThekwini say this will impact the already ailing tourism sector. eNCA’s Lethiwe Mdluli reports. Courtesy #DStv403
