Non-profit organisations in Asia will get US$5 million to help vulnerable communities adapt to climate change. Social investor network AVPN has set up a fund supporting solutions for food security, managing diseases and early-warning weather systems. The fund was launched at the Singapore pavilion at the 29th UN Climate Change Conference. AVPN said it expects at least 250,000 people are at immediate risk in the next five years, with at least a million more who are vulnerable. Claudia Lim reports from Azerbaijan.
