The Gold Coast Mayor is facing disciplinary action after he jokingly called fellow councillor Joe Wilkinson a “Ranga”. Mr Wilkinson did not make the complaint, it was made anonymously. “What kind of nonsense are you spending our money on during a cost-of-living crisis, no less,” Ms Storer said. “I would be proud as heck to be a Ranga, and that is exactly what the councillor in question said.”
