Ties between North and South Korea have reached a new low after Pyongyang rewrote its constitution to call the South a “hostile state”. North Korea now says tensions have reached “the unpredictable brink of war”. North Korea is moving towards abandoning its goal of unification by amending its constitution to label South Korea as a “hostile state”. This comes after North Korea destroyed road and rail links with South Korea.
