North Korean foreign minister arrives in Russia after solid-fuel hypersonic missile test

North Korea said it has flight-tested its new solid-fuel intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM). It's believed to be much harder to detect and designed to strike remote US targets in the region. South Korea, Japan and the US have condemned the missile test. South Korea said the missile flew about 1,000km before landing in the waters between the Korean peninsula and Japan. Analysts said the timing of the missile launch is a concern. North Korea's foreign minister is in Russian for talks this week, amid fears of increasing weapons trade between the countries.
