Hawker Britton co-founder Bruce Hawker believes the Allan government in Victoria stands to “lose a number of seats” at the next state election as they are “not particularly popular". Victorian Shadow Police Minister Brad Battin was chosen as the new leader of the party, and former tennis player Sam Groth was chosen as his deputy. The state Liberals also decided to vote back exiled MP Moira Deeming into the party room. “It’s a state where Labor stands to lose a number of seats,” Mr Hawker told Sky News Australia. “It’s a government which is really not particularly popular at the moment at a state level.”
