El gobierno municipal de la pequeña localidad granadina de Marchal ha sorprendido a sus vecinos con un cartel en la puerta del consistorio con la prohibición de poder entrar con ropa de casa. Este municipio que cuenta con poco más de 400 vecinos en la comarca de Guadix se une a otros ayuntamientos andaluces donde se exige a los vecinos que si quieren entrar a realizar un trámite administrativo o cualquier operación dentro del consistorio tengan que vestir con ropa de calle ya que se prohíbe tanto el uso de bata como de pijama. El alcalde de Marchal, Juan Manuel Valdivia, considera esta medida algo importante para que exista un respeto entre los propios vecinos y los trabajadores del ayuntamiento. El edil entiende que es una norma básica y que no está fuera de lugar ya que expone que ir en pijama o bata sería "una falta de respeto" hacia los responsables de la administración. El debate se plantea en las calles del municipio entre partidarios y detractores de esta prohibición.
