Esta mañana se han celebrado en los Altos del Golán los funerales por los niños y adolescentes israelíes que murieron ayer a causa de un bombardeo mientras jugaban un partido de fútbol. A pesar de que sonaron las alarmas, no les dio tiempo a llegar a un refugio contra los bombardeos que tan solo estaba a doce metros de la cancha. Doce niños y adolescentes murieron y hubo más de una veintena de heridos. Los Altos del Golán son un territorio sirio ocupado por Israel y en el que viven unos 25.000 israelíes drusos repartidos en cuatro aldeas. Los drusos hablan árabe. Son una etnia religiosa surgida en Egipto a principios del siglo XI como una secta del islam.Israel responsabiliza a las milicias libanesas de Hezbolá del ataque aunque ellos lo niegan. Hoy como represalia, la aviación israelí ha bombardeado posiciones de Hezbolá en el interior del Líbano. Los intercambios de bombardeos entre Israel y Hezbolá desde que empezó la guerra en Gaza hace casi 10 meses han dejado en esta región fronteriza más de 500 muertos. Mientras tanto en la Franja de Gaza, las bombas y la muerte continúan su rutina.
