Felipe VI y Letizia han inaugurado este martes 6 de marzo la 43ª edición de ARCO, la feria internacional de arte contemporáneo. El evento se alargará hasta el 10 de marzo en los pabellones 7 y 9 de recinto ferial de IFEMA. Este año, las 207 galerías las llenan obras de 36 países, y tienen al Caribe de protagonista. ARCO Madrid está formado por dos secciones, la general, donde se encuentran las galerías y los proyectos que han sido seleccionados por el Comité Organizador, y la parte de las secciones comisariadas, que contienen investigaciones sobre el arte en la actualidad. Los reyes han llegado a media tarde, sobre las 18:00, y han hecho un recorrido por algunas de las piezas más destacadas de la edición, de autores tan reconocidos como Miró, Picasso o Chillida.
