NSC receives new cricket kits

Five new cricket kits have been presented to the National Sports Council. By the Barbados Royals Girls Cricket Club, as part of the 'DP World Beyond Boundaries' Initiative. The presentation was made by Club President Roland Butcher to NSC Chairman Mac Fingall at the Friendship Ground recently, in aid of helping younger players with the sport. Butcher says it was the final presentation for the year, and he knows the NSC will make the best use of the gear. Chair of the Royals Girls Club - Dr. Sasha Sutherland - says their partnership with the NSC continues to grow, and they are grateful to the council for allowing them to use the Yorkshire facility as their home venue over the last year. Mr. Fingall encouraged the girls in the club to put in the work and take advantage of the opportunity that stands ahead of them.
