NSW Health Minister urges psychiatrists to withdraw resignations as mass exodus looms

The New South Wales Health Minister is pleading for psychiatrists to withdraw their resignations ahead of a mass exodus by the end of the month. In ten days, 77 per cent of the state’s public psychiatrists are set to leave their jobs amid escalating pay disputes. The state government has revealed contingency plans if pay negotiations fail which is set to have an even greater impact on the health sector and taxpayers.
