NSW heatwave sparks concern for energy grid

Sydney has escaped the prospect of running out of power after warm weather swept the Harbour City. Temperatures reached the mid-30s in the CBD yesterday while some Western Suburbs nudged 40 degrees. Fears of insufficient supply loomed due to the extreme heat and planned maintenance on the energy grid.
