NSW Maritime Services launch boat safety blitz

New South Wales Maritime Services are launching a major boat safety blitz. The initiative is underway to coincide with school holidays beginning in the state. This comes after the number of boating-related deaths in the state has doubled since July 2023. Authorities are also warning boaters to be aware of debris in the waterways. The warning comes following recent flooding across New South Wales.
