NT commits $180 million over five years to the new federal DV fund

Northern Territory Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro joins her counterpart at the National Cabinet meeting to announce a $4.7 billion to tackle the national domestic violence crisis. "I think this is a really important start, and we are looking forward to continuing to work with our federal counterparts on this issue,” Ms Finocchiaro said. “We have been very clear that the territory is overrepresented in domestic violence statistics and I think all of my colleagues here understand that. “It is about doing our share of the heavy lifting as well with our $180 million over five years that the NT has put on the table.”
