Ntoroko livestock owners urged to relocate due to floods

Livestock owners in flooded areas of Ntoroko District have been advised to relocate their animals to dry land due to a potential disease outbreak after River Semliki burst its banks, submerging large areas of grazing land. Dr. Patrick Businge, the district production officer, states that the district was under quarantine for foot and mouth disease before the floods, making many areas susceptible to disease.
