A 13-year-old from Oklahoma is believed to be the first person to ever beat Tetris since the game's release more than 30 years ago. Willis Gibson was practicing competitive Tetris when he became the first person to win the game. The teenager was reportedly playing for more than 20 hours a week. Previously, only bots powered by artificial intelligence had led the game to its ‘kill screen’, where blocks fall so fast that the game itself can't continue. Willis dedicated his win to his father Adam, who passed away last month.
