Older persons campaign - Targeting solutions for older persons' health

Local leaders, in conjunction with civil society organizations in Entebbe municipality, have initiated a campaign to enhance the well-being of older persons by facilitating their access to healthcare services. Entebbe Municipality, home to over 5000 older individuals, grapples with the challenge of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and inadequate nutrition, necessitating urgent medical attention. Director of Health Nest Uganda, Namara Arthur Araali, has underscored the importance of addressing these issues and has initiated a campaign to improve older persons' access to healthcare services.
