‘On the rise’: New polling reveals growing support for nuclear energy

Freshwater Strategy Director Leo Shanahan says nuclear energy is “on the rise” in terms of support from the Australian public. “Compared to solar, gas is actually hugely popular as well – not as popular – but it is more popular now according to our polling than coal,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson. “Which is already in the system and very much needed in the current environment, here we are in the middle of winter.”
