Once public beach now charging Aussies for Indigenous visitor permits

"It came to our notice when someone posted online a photograph of the sign beachgoers see," Mr Macpherson said. The sign reads 'Indigenous protected area. You're entering a Designated Recreation Area on private land. A Dhimurru Visitor Access Permit is required to enter'.
