Ontario man arrested after attempting to rob armoured vehicle with SUV

A Durham region man was taken into custody Friday night after attempting to rob an armoured truck early in the morning. The Garda World truck was conducting a pick-up and delivery at a small-town bank when a man in a stolen SUV allegedly rammed into it intentionally. As Global’s Vanessa Wright tells us, the suspect proceeded to chase the vehicle from Brooklyn, Ont., to Whitby, before finally being arrested.
