OPM, NCDC ENGAGE YORK EXPRESS FOR CURRICULUM DESIGN AND MODERNIZATION IN UGANDA

The office of the Prime Minister through the Prime Minister’s delivery Unit (PMDU) in collaboration with the National Curriculum development center (NCDC) have begun the process of engaging York Express an organisation based in London and offers expert consultancy designed to shape educational initiatives for public to further develop a skills based learning system in Uganda. The consultation meeting took place at Latitude 0 Hotel in Makindye in Kampala. The head of Prime Minister’s delivery Unit PMDU at the office of the Prime minister Robert Kasule Ssebunya says they have embarked on the process of conducting consultations that are meant to help the country in curriculum design and modernization to match the ever changing needs in the world. Ssebunya says that the country is currently engaging with York Express to come up with ways of expediting the process of overhauling the education system in Uganda to meet the needs of the current generation.
