Ostrich farm fights mandatory cull of entire herd after several birds test positive for avian flu

Owners of a West Kootenay ostrich farm are devastated to learn they are set to lose their entire flock due to an avian flu outbreak. A cull of 400 birds has been ordered at Universal Ostrich Farms in Edgewood, B.C., by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
