OVER 100,000 TREES DONATED FOR KAMPALA BEAUTIFICATION AHEAD OF NAM AND G77+CHINA SUMMITS

With 12 days left to the Non -Alignment Movement and the G 77+china summits, The Minister for Kampala and the Metropolitan Affairs Hajjat Minsa Kabanda and the Executive Director KCCA, Dorothy Kisaka have received over 100,000 tress from Hamis Kiggundu, businessman to help in city greening and beautification. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni took over the chairmanship to host these two events from the president of Azerbaijan. As the country gears-up to host the Non Aligned Movement and the G+77 summits, Kampala being the host territory embarked on a massive city beautification initiative, urging property owners in Kampala Central Division to enhance the looks of their buildings and surroundings.  The initiative kicked off with property owners on Kampala Road and Entebbe Road taking the lead in painting their houses greening and improving frontages, aligning with a notice issued by the KCCA.
