Over 100 killed after Tibetan holy city hit by 7.1 magnitude earthquake
Many are feared trapped as a strong earthquake hits China's mountainous area, near Tibet's holy city of Shigatse. China says about 1,500 fire and rescue workers have been deployed to search for people in the rubble. But due to the remoteness of the affected area as well as the sub-zero temperatures, the rescue operation is proving difficult. Tremors were also felt in Nepal's capital, Kathmandu, as well as Bhutan and northern India.
