More than 120,000 people have utilised Sydney’s new Metro line which has opened to commuters after seven years of construction. The project, first conceived by a former Coalition government, has been deemed a game-changer as it has shortened many people’s commute to work. Metro trains took the first paying passengers from Sydenham through to Tallawong on Monday.
