Over 150 farmers trained in Arua - Many dissatisfied with bureaucracy of loan acquisition

Over 150 cassava farmers and those in Small and medium Enterprises in Arua have been trained in value addition and financial literacy through a four-day training organized by Postbank Uganda, in collaboration with the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises. The initiative is part of the Agri-SME Skills Development Programme aimed at empowering local farmers to explore wider trade opportunities, both internally and externally. Farmers, however, expressed dissatisfaction over bureaucracy in accessing government loans, like the Agriculture Credit Facility.
