Over 25000 residents in Kiryandongo live in fear over land eviction

Over 25,000 residents of Mombi and neighboring villages in Kyakende, Kiryandongo District are living in fear of eviction following disputes with the family of the late Brig Gen. Sabuni and alleged land grabbers. The residents, who have lived on the land for decades, expressed their concerns during a meeting attended by State Minister for Lands Dr. Sam Mayanja, State Minister for Youth Balamu Barugahara and other government officials.
