Pakistan general election: Counting underway after a day of violence

Election day in Pakistan has been marred by the killing of seven police officers. Tight security was en-forced and mobile phone services cut off. Opposition parties accused the government of suppressing support for them. And the imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan was barred from taking part.
